Caribbean Destinations Reviews

Antigua: The holiday island of Antigua is one of the top beach resorts in the Caribbean. It has a beach for everyday of the year. Antigua is located north of Guadeloupe and south of St. Kitts and Nevis. Visitors can enjoy many lovely beaches, water sports attractions and excellent nightlife activities. Bahamas: The Bahamas can the labelled the water sports center of the world. The territory is located north of Cuba and southeast of the Florida. British Virgin Islands: These islands provide some of the best sailing water in the world. The British Virgin Islands is by far the top destination of sailing in the Caribbean. The main islands that comprise the British dependent territory are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegeda and Jost Van Dyke along with fifty other small island and cays.  They are located east of Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands. Dominica: The nature island Dominica is one of the top Caribbean destinations for eco-touroism attraction. Dominica is located between the two French island of Martinique to south and Guadeloupe to the north. The country is known for its many rivers, pot springs and natural tropical vegetation. Vacationers often spend the time in a lovely mountain cottage or lodge which is really a rejuvenating experience. There different lodges and cottages throughout the island but the capitol Roseau and Calibishie are ideal places to start your vacation in Dominica. Grenada: This territory is known as the spice isles of the Caribbean of its nutmegs. However, the territory of Grenada is comprised of three islands. They include Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Carriacou and Petit Martinique are part of the Grenadines island chain. The territory is located south of St. Vincent, north of Trinidad and southwest of Barbados. The countries are an eco-tourism melting spot with is interesting hot spring, challenging nature trails and wonderful waterfalls. Also, in the months of December to April one can visit the island to go whale and dolphin watching or take a trip to the Tobago Cays Marine Park in the Grenadines which is close by. Additionally, the islands Grenada provides a perfect base for visitors to go island hopping in the Grenadines or even as far as Barbados. The two main destinations in Grenada are St. George’s and Carriacou have excellent resorts and hotels that offer great vacation and wedding packages.   

Jamaica: The island of Jamaica is by far one of the most exciting and fulfilling tourism destinations in the region. There are lots of different destinations visitors can choose from. However, six of the main destinations are Negril, Montego Bay, Runaway Bay, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio and Kingston. These destinations have all the different types of resorts. It is location North of St. Vincent, south of the French Island of Martinique and northwest of Barbados. The country has four major vacation destinations. These include Soufriere, Castries, Gros Islet and Vieux Fort. Resorts in Soufriere are of a tropical nature setting with their location close to the Pitons. Vieux Fort hotels offer visitors lovely beach vacation with excellent opportunities to sunbathe, go wind surfing and horseback riding. Gros Islet is the main vacation hub of the territory with many top class hotels and resorts on offer. Visiting can participate in activities such as windsurfing, snorkeling, parasailing and golf amongst others.  

Grenadines: The Grenadines is a beautiful stretch of islands found between St. Vincent and Grenada. These destination are jointly own by St. Vincent and Grenada. The Grenadines are well known of their wonder sailing and marine life attractions. One of the famous marine attractions is the Tobago Cays Marine Reserve which offers visitors lovely diving adventures.
